If an application has 10 fields, and a data import file contains values for 12 fields, what will happen with the remaining 2 columns of data when a Data Import is performed?
I'm going with option C as well. It's better to have the extra data ignored than to risk importing it into the wrong fields or creating new ones unnecessarily.
Option A sounds like a convenient solution, but I'm not sure Archer would automatically create new fields to accommodate the extra data. That could lead to some unexpected results.
I think option C is the correct answer. The extra data should be ignored and not imported into Archer. It's important to make sure the application fields match the data file.
