Wait, are we sure about this? I thought there were more options needed.

Isn't Key Recovery also a thing? Seems odd to leave it out.

I thought File Recovery was important too, but I guess not!

I’m pretty confident that Server Authentication is necessary, but I’m torn between Client Authentication and Key Recovery for the second choice.

I feel like File Recovery could be relevant, but it doesn't seem right for SSL. I’m leaning towards Server Authentication and maybe Key Recovery?

I remember practicing a question similar to this, and I think Client Authentication might be important too, but I can't recall clearly.

I think Server Authentication is definitely one of the purposes we need for SSL certificates, but I'm not sure about the second one.

I'm feeling pretty confident about this one. The key usage purposes for an SSL certificate on an ESM server would be Server Authentication and Client Authentication. Those are the essential ones to enable secure communication.

Okay, let's see here. For an ESM server, we need the certificate to be able to authenticate the server and allow clients to authenticate to the server. So I'd say Server Authentication and Client Authentication are the two key usage purposes we need.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused on this one. I know SSL certificates are used for encryption, but I'm not sure which specific key usage purposes are required for an ESM server. I'll have to think this through carefully.

I'm pretty sure the answer is Server Authentication and Client Authentication, since an SSL certificate is used to secure communication between the client and server.

I'm a bit confused by the different virtual server types here. I know Performance (HTTP) is good for HTTP traffic, but does that include SSL? And what's the difference between Forwarding (IP) and Standard? I'll have to review my notes on this before answering.

I think D) Key Recovery could also be important in certain situations.

Hmm, I'd go with B and D. Gotta have that key recovery in case something goes wrong, right? Can't be too careful with that SSL stuff!

B and C, duh! You need server auth for the SSL cert and client auth for the ESM server to authenticate users. Easy peasy!

Got it, so B and C are the essential enhanced key usage purposes for the SSL certificate of an ESM server.

Makes sense, server authentication ensures the server's identity, while client authentication verifies the user's identity.
