B sounds like it's trying to initialize the MySQL server, but that's not what we're looking for here. We need to enable the audit logging feature, not the entire server.

I'm not sure, but I think D) mysql> INSTALL COMPONENT audit_log; could also be a valid command for enabling rule-based MySQL Auditing.
