D sounds like it's covering all the bases, but I don't think that's necessary for a task to be considered overdue. B is the way to go.

I think B is the correct answer. The current date being beyond the due date is what makes a task overdue. The other options don't really make sense.

I think it could also be D) the current date is beyond both the expiration date and the due date, as sometimes tasks have both due dates and expiration dates.
