Ah, the age-old battle of the VLANs! I bet the network team is just trying to keep us on our toes. Or maybe they're just having a little too much fun with the switch configs. Either way, I'm going with option C. It's always the VLANs, isn't it?

Let's hope they figure it out soon. It's frustrating when VMs can't communicate properly.

Maybe the networking team needs to double-check their switch configurations to fix the issue.

Yeah, VLANs can be tricky to get right. It's a common culprit for network problems.

I think it's option C too. VLAN misconfigurations can definitely cause communication issues.

I'll have to go with option D on this one. Jumbo frames are tricky, and if they're not configured properly across all the ports, that could definitely cause the kind of connectivity issues described in the question.

But what about jumbo frames being misconfigured? That could also be a possibility.

But what about the vNIC port being disconnected on the affected VMs?

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. What if the vNIC ports are actually disconnected on the affected VMs? That could also explain why they can't connect to other parts of the network, even if they can communicate within the same node.

I believe the issue could also be due to Jumbo Frames misconfiguration across ports.

VLAN misconfiguration on the switch? That sounds like the culprit to me. The network team is responsible for the switches, and if the VLANs aren't set up correctly, that could definitely cause issues with the VMs communicating across the network.

I agree with Dewitt, it makes sense that the switch configuration is causing the issue.
