Provision storage on the Nutanix cluster by creating a volume group. Create a client whitelist to enable access to the volume group by using the IP addresses or client initiator IQNs in a whitelist (as part of the volume group configuration). Create a secret for the volume group if you are using CHAP authentication.

I’m surprised CHAP is still relevant, thought it was outdated.

Wait, can LDAP really handle password protection for volumes?

I feel like LDAP is more about directory services, so I'm not sure if it would be the right choice for securing volume access with a password.

iSER sounds familiar, but I can't recall if it involves password protection or just performance improvements for storage.

I remember practicing with SAML for single sign-on, but I don't think it directly relates to securing volume access with a password.

I think we talked about CHAP in class as a way to authenticate users securely, but I'm not completely sure if it's the best option for volumes.

I'm a bit confused by this question. I know iSER is related to storage, but I'm not sure if it's the right answer for secure access with a password. I'll have to eliminate the options I'm less confident about and then make an educated guess.

Okay, let's see. We need to enable secure access to Volumes using a password, so I'm guessing the answer is either CHAP or SAML. CHAP is a good option, but SAML could also work for authentication. I'll have to review my notes to decide.

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure about this one. I know LDAP is used for authentication, but I'm not sure if that's the right answer here. I'll have to think this through carefully.

This seems like a straightforward security question. I think the answer is CHAP, which is a common authentication protocol used for secure access to storage volumes.

This looks like a question on authentication protocols. Based on the options, I think CHAP is the best answer. It's a widely used protocol for secure access to storage volumes, and it uses a password-based authentication process.

I think the distributed builds help because it prevents the master from getting overloaded, but I'm not sure if that's the main reason.
