Provision storage on the Nutanix cluster by creating a volume group. Create a client whitelist to enable access to the volume group by using the IP addresses or client initiator IQNs in a whitelist (as part of the volume group configuration). Create a secret for the volume group if you are using CHAP authentication.

A is correct, but D is a common mistake people make.

Wait, is it really that simple? I always thought it was more complicated.

I thought you could just use the IPMI console for that?

You need to run the cvm_shutdown -P new command for a proper shutdown.

I’m leaning towards option A, but I vaguely remember something about using the IPMI console too. It’s a bit confusing!

I feel like the cvm_shutdown -P now command is the right one, but I might be mixing it up with another command from our labs.

I think I saw a question about shutting down the CVM in the IPMI console, but I can't recall the exact command.

I remember practicing the cvm_shutdown command, but I’m not sure if it was -P new or -P now.

I'm leaning towards option D, executing the cvm_shutdown -P now command from the host. The question specifically says the administrator needs to perform an "orderly shutdown of the CVM", and that command sounds like it would do the job.

Okay, I think I've got this. The key is that the administrator has already put the host in maintenance mode, so the next step is to properly shut down the CVM. Option A, executing the cvm_shutdown -P new command from the CVM, seems like the most straightforward way to do an orderly shutdown.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused here. The question is asking about shutting down the CVM, but the options mention things like "Fever off Server" and "Fewer off Server" which don't sound quite right to me. I'll need to re-read this carefully.

I'm pretty sure the answer is C. The question mentions an "orderly shutdown of the CVM", so the IPMI console option with "orderly Shutdown" seems like the right choice.

I'm pretty sure HIPAA applies to healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other entities that handle protected health information. I think the answer is banks, since they don't deal with that kind of sensitive medical data.

If I was the administrator, I'd bring down the host with a sledgehammer. That's the only way to be sure it's really down for maintenance.

Fever off Server? What is this, a hospital emergency? I'll stick with option C and hope the IPMI console knows what it's doing.

Hold up, why would you enter 'Fewer' off Server? That's not even a real command. I'm going with option A, cvm_shutdown -P new.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that. Doesn't the question say the administrator needs to bring down the host? Seems like option D might be more appropriate.
