Totally agree with B, that’s the most thorough approach!

Wait, can you really just paste commands like that? Seems risky!

A is definitely not the way to go, masking should be post-clone.

I think C is better, creating a script first makes sense.

Option B sounds right, masking before cloning is key!

I’m pretty sure that pasting commands in the pre-clone field, like in option D, isn’t the right approach for masking sensitive data.

I feel like option C is similar to what we did in our last lab, but I can't recall if we specifically used the Time Machine for that.

I think option B sounds familiar because it mentions creating a masking script and using it in the post-clone option, which we practiced in class.

I remember we discussed the importance of masking data before cloning, but I'm not sure if the masking script should be created on the source DB or the Dev VM.

I'm leaning towards option B. It seems the most efficient way to handle the masking without a lot of extra work. As long as the masking script is well-tested, that should do the trick.

Option C looks good to me. Creating a separate script to handle the data masking seems like the most flexible approach. That way we can reuse the script for future clones if needed.

Hmm, I'm a little unsure about this one. I know we need to mask the financial data, but I'm not sure if the pre-clone or post-clone option is better. Maybe I'll review the details of each option again to make sure I understand the differences.

This seems pretty straightforward. I'd go with option B - create a masking script and run it as a post-clone step. That way the masking happens automatically without any manual intervention.

This looks like a straightforward SNMP configuration question. I'll start by reviewing the options and thinking through the requirements.

I'm pretty confident the answer is SYNC. The volume hasn't been started, but the plexes are synchronized, so it must be in the SYNC state waiting to be activated.

This question seems straightforward - I just need to identify the advantages and disadvantages of incremental budgeting in the public sector. I'll focus on explaining the key points clearly.

Smart Content Service sounds like the most precise way to connect Adobe Sensei with AEM's smart tag feature. That's my go-to choice.

I see your point, Latonia. However, I think option C could also work by creating a script to mask the data and defining the post-clone option with it.

But what if we make a mistake in the masking script? Wouldn't it be better to paste the commands in the pre-clone field like option D?

I agree with Carmela. Option B seems like the most logical choice to ensure the financial data is masked properly.

I think option B is the best choice because we can create a masking script and define the post-clone option with the full path.

I would prefer to create a script to mask the data and define the post-clone option with the script's full path/name. It seems more organized.

Alternatively, we could paste masking commands in the pre-clone field of the Pre-Post Commands section when creating the clone.

I think we should create a masking script on the source DB VM and then define the post-clone option with the script path.

Alright, let's do this! I'm going with option C. Create a script, clone the database, run the script. Boom, job done. Simple as that. Now, who's ready to grab a beer after this exam?

You can create a clone from a Time Machine and insert pre-post commands section for data masking. The real question is : when should you run data masking script, in pre-script or post-script section ? I think answer is post-script section. First, you have to clone your database, then you run data masking script according to this article in the section "Recommended Data Masking Workflow" : https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-database/12.2/dmksb/data_masking.html#GUID-2B0418D5-0D85-4F9B-9A7F-53665681BE25 Therefore, answer is A.

After more research about this question, With NDB, you can create sanitized snapshots of databases to create sanitized database clones. You can achieve this in two ways: Synchronous approach: Creating a sanitized snapshot using create or refresh clone workflows where you perform sanitization using post scripts. Asynchronous approach: Creating a sanitized snapshot on an existing clone where you perform sanitization using a third-party tool or a custom script. Note : NDB does not support sanitized snapshots for the Oracle database engine. See https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Nutanix-NDB-User-Guide-v2_5:top-sanitized-snapshots-c.html

I think option C is the way to go. It makes the most sense to create a script to mask the data first, and then use that script to create the clone. That way, the data is guaranteed to be masked before it's copied to the development environment.

I'm a little confused about this question. Are we supposed to create a clone of the production database and then mask the data, or create a script to mask the data and then clone the database? The options seem a bit ambiguous to me.
