I think the correct answer is C) 9216 bytes. I believe this is the maximum value supported by Nutanix CVM.

Larger MTU sizes help in reducing the number of packets transmitted, which can lead to better overall network efficiency.

I'm not sure about this. Can someone explain why larger MTU sizes are better?

I agree with Marvel. The reason is that larger MTU sizes can improve network performance and reduce overhead.

I think it's 1472 bytes because smaller MTU sizes can sometimes be more efficient for certain network setups.

Alright, time to put on my thinking cap. Let's see, the Nutanix CVM is a virtual appliance, so it's probably not limited to the standard 1500 byte Ethernet MTU. I'm gonna go with 9216 bytes, just to be safe.

I believe you're right. It makes sense for a virtual appliance to support a larger MTU.

Hmm, let me think about this. I'm pretty sure the Nutanix CVM supports jumbo frames, so I'm guessing the answer is either 9000 or 9216 bytes.

Ugh, not another MTU question! These things are the bane of my existence. Why can't they ask something more interesting, like the differences between NFS and iSCSI or how to configure Nutanix replication?
