Wait, D? I didn't know route reflectors couldn't work with confederations!

C is misleading, it only applies to certain peers.

I feel like I studied split horizon in relation to route reflectors, but I can't recall if it disables it for all peers or just some.

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember something about iBGP sessions. I thought route reflectors reduced the number of sessions needed, not increased them.

I think option A sounds familiar because route reflectors do propagate routes to their clients, right?

I’m pretty sure route reflectors can work with confederations, so I think option D is definitely incorrect.

Okay, let me think this through. I definitely don't want to ask them to forward the email to management, that seems like overkill. I think I'll go with option B - get them to read the email details so I can figure out which one they're talking about.

Reaching out to a similar business for their security plan could be an interesting approach, but I'm not sure that's the best first step. I think I'd want to really understand our own organization's strategy and objectives before looking externally.
