OSPF not enabled? Nah, that’s too basic to cause this.

Wait, are you saying OSPF can get stuck just because of MTU?

Same Router ID is a common mistake too!

I disagree, it could also be the Hello packets issue.

Definitely the MTU mismatch, seen it happen a lot.

I recall that if a Hello packet isn't received, it can lead to adjacency issues, but I can't remember if that directly ties to ExchStart.

I think I came across a practice question where OSPF adjacency was affected by the Router ID being the same. That might be relevant here too.

I remember studying that the MTU mismatch can definitely cause issues, but I'm not entirely sure if it's the only reason for being stuck in ExchStart.

I feel like OSPF not being enabled on one of the routers could be a cause, but I’m not confident if it specifically relates to the ExchStart state.

If there's a PSP option that already supports controllers, that could be the easiest path forward. Avoiding the conversion work altogether would be ideal if possible.

Okay, I remember that regular ADDM uses AWR snapshots, but I can't recall if those are the latest snapshots or ones that have already been purged. I'll have to read the options carefully.
