How many responses should be received if IGMP version 2 is in use and a router sends a Query to a specific multicast group that has 6 active receivers on the local broadcast domain?
This is a tricky one. I'm not super familiar with storage virtualization, so I'm a bit hesitant about options A and B. Option D, contacting the system administrators, might be a good starting point to understand why they have so much unused storage allocated. That could help inform the best course of action. I'll need to do some quick research on the virtualization options before the exam.
This feels similar to a practice question I did where we had to manage traffic flow. I would guess G0/0 is the correct choice for applying ACL 101 for outbound rules.
I'm a bit unsure about how to approach this. There are a lot of numbers and probabilities to keep track of. Maybe I should start by listing out all the key variables and then work through the calculations step-by-step.
I'm pretty sure the answer is C) 6. IGMP v2 is all about host-router communication, and with 6 active receivers, that's exactly the number of responses we should see.
I was about to select D) 7, but then I remembered that the router sends the Query to a specific multicast group, not a general broadcast. So C) 6 must be correct.
