Hypertension is the medical term for high blood pressure. It is a condition where the force of the blood against the artery walls is consistently too high, which can lead to heart disease, stroke, and other health problems. The other terms refer to different conditions:

Hyperemia: Increased blood flow to a particular area of the body.

Hypertrophy: Enlargement of an organ or tissue from the increase in the size of its cells.

Hyperthermia: Abnormally high body temperature.
