Garamycin is just another name for Gentamicin, right? I think I’ll go with Nystatin as the answer since it doesn’t belong.

I’m pretty sure Streptomycin is an aminoglycoside too. Nystatin just doesn’t fit with the rest, but I can’t recall why.

I think Gentamicin and Amikacin are definitely aminoglycosides, but I’m a bit confused about Nystatin. I feel like I’ve seen similar questions before.

I remember studying aminoglycosides, but I’m not sure if Nystatin is one of them. It sounds different from the others.

Okay, I've got a strategy here. I'll go through each option and think about the key characteristics of aminoglycosides to determine which one is the exception.

This seems straightforward. Aminoglycosides are a well-known class, so I should be able to spot the one that doesn't fit.

Okay, I know aminoglycosides are a class of antibiotics, so I'll need to identify which of these options is not an example of that.

I bet the person who wrote this question was feeling pretty clever, trying to sneak in an antifungal as an aminoglycoside. Nice try, but I'm not falling for it!

This question is a piece of cake! Nystatin is the only one that doesn't belong with the rest of these aminoglycoside drugs.

Gentamicin, Amikacin, and Streptomycin - those are the aminoglycosides I know. Nystatin must be the odd one out here.
