Actual exam question for MuleSoft's MCIA-Level-1-Maintenance exam
Question #: 24
Topic #: 7
[All MCIA-Level-1-Maintenance Questions]

A company is planning to extend its Mule APIs to the Europe region. Currently all new applications are deployed to Cloudhub in the US region following this naming convention

{API name}-{environment}. for example, Orders-SAPI-dev, Orders-SAPI-prod etc.

Considering there is no network restriction to block communications between API's, what strategy should be implemented in order to apply the same new API's running in the EU region of CloudHub as well to minimize latency between API's and target users and systems in Europe?

I hope the correct answer is A) Remaining records will be processed by a new replacement worker, that sounds like the most logical solution.

I'm not sure about that. It might be possible that the remaining records will be left and not processed at all.

In that case, I believe the remaining records will be processed by the second worker.

But what if the replacement worker also crashes before finishing the processing?

I agree with Elden. It makes sense to have a backup worker to handle the remaining records.

I think if the worker crashes, the remaining records will be processed by a new replacement worker.
