I'm a little confused on this one. I know Vagrant is used for managing VMs, but I'm not sure if it actually runs them itself or just manages them. I'll have to review my notes on Vagrant before answering this.
I'm pretty confident the answer is D. Vagrant is all about abstracting away the underlying virtualization technology, so it makes sense that it would use providers to control different hypervisors.
Okay, let me see here. I remember that Vagrant doesn't have its own hypervisor, so it must be using something else. I'm leaning towards C - Vagrant ships with an embedded version of VirtualBox.
Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know Vagrant is used to manage virtual machines, but I'm not sure exactly how it does that. I'll have to think this through carefully.
