I'm pretty sure Git status doesn't show you which files have been edited but won't be part of the next commit. That's more of a 'git diff' kind of thing. But the other three options are definitely what Git status gives you.
Haha, option B reminded me of the time I accidentally locked a file and couldn't figure out how to unlock it. Turns out I had to close the entire application. Git status to the rescue!
I thought option B about locked files was a trick question. Git doesn't really have a concept of 'locked' files, does it? That's more of a file system thing.
C, D, and E seem to be the correct options. Git status shows the files that have been changed and are ready to be committed, as well as any untracked files that haven't been added to version control yet.
