Okay, I think I've got this. The key is to use the xconnect command on R4 to establish a pseudowire connection with R1, but not the other routers. That should allow the VLAN routes to be shared between R1 and R4 only.
This looks like a straightforward question. I think the Apex Trigger option is the way to go - that's the most flexible and powerful way to automate this kind of field update.
I'm a little confused by the different types of advertising here. Is Remnant advertising the same as Contextual? And how does Behavioral differ from Demographic? I need to review my notes on this topic before answering.
