I feel like "uptime" just shows system load averages, so it can't be the right choice here.

"vmstat" sounds familiar, but I can't recall if it lists PIDs sorted by CPU cycles.

I remember practicing with "ps aux," but I don't think it sorts by CPU usage directly.

I think the answer might be "top" since it shows real-time CPU usage, but I'm not completely sure.
