A won't work, rm can't delete partitions like that.

B is the right one, it writes zeros to the partition.

I remember practicing with dd commands, and I think B is correct. A just removes files, not the partition contents.

I think option B is the right one since it uses dd with /dev/zero, but I'm not entirely sure if it will actually erase everything.
