I bet the exam writer was just trying to trick us with those silly options. Good thing I've got my trusty Task Manager on speed dial!

I think Process Explorer would also be a good option to identify the application.

I'm pretty sure the answer is D and E. Although, I hear Process Explorer can also be used to play Tetris, so that's a bonus!

A hex editor? Really? Unless the application is doing something super shady, I don't think that's the way to go. Give me good old Task Manager any day!

I'm not sure why traceroute or nbstat would be useful for this. Those are more network-related tools, not for identifying applications.

D and E seem like the obvious choices here. Task manager and Process explorer are classic tools for identifying running applications on a Windows server.
