A project manager is assigned to a project, either full-time or part-time, depending onthe size of the project, and then must negotiate for the services of individual teammembers with each appropriate functional manager in:
D) Control Organization? Is that like a secret spy agency for project managers? I'm in! Do we get cool code names and invisible cars, or is that just in the movies?
C) Project Organization, all the way! No more fighting over resources, the project manager has full control. Although, I hear the catering budget is a bit tight in those setups.
A) Functional Organization? Really? Where's the challenge? I want to see the project manager wheeling and dealing in a Matrix Organization. That's where the real action is!
B) Matrix Organization, definitely! That's where the project manager has to navigate the complex web of functional and project responsibilities. I can already feel the headache coming on just thinking about it.
