Each correct answer represents a complete solution. Choose two.

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A, B

Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) and Secure Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME) are two ways

of sending secure e-mail messages over the

Internet. Both use public key cryptography, where users each possess two keys, a public key for

encrypting, and a private key for decrypting

messages. Because PGP has evolved from a free distribution, it is more popular than S/MIME.

Answer option C is incorrect. Transport Layer Security (TLS) is an application layer protocol that uses

a combination of public and symmetric

key processing to encrypt data.

Answer option D is incorrect. Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) is a standard-based protocol that

provides the highest level of VPN security.

IPSec can encrypt virtually everything above the networking layer. It is used for VPN connections

that use the L2TP protocol. It secures both

data and password.

IPSec cannot be used with Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP).

I thought there were more ways to secure emails, this is surprising!

IPSec is more for network security, not email.

Wait, isn't TLS also used for securing emails?

I have a vague memory of IPSec being used for securing networks, not emails. So, I guess it’s not one of the answers.

I practiced a similar question last week, and I think PGP and S/MIME were the correct answers. They both deal with email security directly.

I'm not entirely sure, but I remember something about TLS being more related to securing connections rather than emails specifically.

I think PGP and S/MIME are the ones we studied for secure email. They both use encryption, right?

I'm a bit confused on this one. I'm not sure if the Delivery Profile or the Send Classification would be the right choice. I'll have to think it through more carefully.

Okay, let me see... RBI analysis involves identifying and assessing risks, so I'm guessing it's similar to one of the risk assessment methods we covered. I'll try to eliminate the options that don't seem to fit.

Okay, let me see if I can break this down. The question is asking when to install the storage device drivers for the Windows boot partition. I'm leaning towards B, before the creation of the RAID array, since that seems like a logical step in the process.
