Effective cost capacity management

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: C

According to SMA 4Y, Measuring the Cost of Capacity, maximizing the value created within an organization starts with understanding the nature and capabilities of all of the company's resources. Capacity is defined from several different perspectives. Managing capacity cost starts when a product is first envisioned. It continues through the subsequent disposal of resources downstream. Effective capacity cost management requires supporting effective matching of a firm's resource with current and future market opportunities.

I keep second-guessing myself, but D seems off since effective management should focus on more than just short-term gains, right?

I'm not really sure, but I remember something about minimizing costs not being the goal. Maybe A is wrong?

I think option C sounds right because it talks about matching resources with market opportunities, which is what we discussed in class.

I feel like I saw a similar question about capacity management in our practice tests, and C was the correct answer there too.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I know Integrated Windows Authentication is related to Windows credentials, but I'm not entirely sure which specific methods it uses. I'll have to think this through carefully.

I'm a bit confused by the diagram, but I think the key is to identify the location of server04 and then follow the path to the log settings.

Whew, this is a lot to take in. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed, but I'm going to take it step-by-step. I'll start by making sure I have a good grasp of the given information and the overall objectives.

This one seems straightforward. I think the answer is absorption costing, since that's the method where overhead costs are applied based on production volume.

I'm a bit confused on this one. I know the DPO has some important responsibilities, but I'm not sure which one is the main task. I'll have to guess and go with option D.
