Ah, the Scorecard pane, the holy grail of system status monitoring. I bet the IBM developers spent weeks agonizing over whether to use a 70% or 90% threshold. Man, the excitement must have been palpable!

Wait, there's a 'Scorecard pane' in the Cognos Administration console? I always thought it was just a dartboard they used to determine the status. Guess I've been doing it wrong this whole time!

I'm going with B. It just makes the most sense in terms of how the Scorecard pane would summarize the status of a service. Although, I do wish IBM would use a more intuitive threshold than 80%.

I'm not sure about the threshold, but B does seem like the most logical option for how the Scorecard pane works.

I agree, it would be helpful if IBM used a more intuitive threshold for the status display.

I think B is correct too. It does make sense for the Scorecard pane to show the lowest status of all child entries.

D seems like the most logical choice. If 80% of the child entries are Unavailable, then the overall status should be Unavailable. Simple as that.

Got it, so D is the most accurate choice in this scenario.

No, according to the options, it would only show as Unavailable if at least 80% of the child entries have that status.

But what if only 70% of the child entries are Unavailable? Would it still show as Unavailable?

I think D is the correct answer. If most of the child entries are Unavailable, then the overall status should be Unavailable.

Hmm, I was leaning towards C, but now I'm not so sure. Does the Scorecard pane really use a 80% threshold for the 'Available' status? Sounds a bit arbitrary to me.

I think B is the correct answer. The Scorecard pane shows the overall status of a service, which is the lowest status of all its child entries.

But if a service is disabled in IBM Cognos Configuration, it should be listed in the Scorecard pane, right?
