Carlton takes note of your attention to this: "Most of my people take their laptops home with them, or use their own tablets or phones. I want them to use whatever helps them to think and be ready day or night for that great insight. It may only come once!"What phase in the Privacy Maturity Model (PMM) does Gadgo's privacy program best exhibit?

Wait, are they really letting employees take laptops home? That's risky!

Sounds like they're in the Ad hoc phase for sure.

I can see why people might think it's Ad hoc, but maybe there's a chance they're at Repeatable? I just feel like there's some level of process, even if it's not very strong.

I remember a practice question where a company had a similar lack of controls. I think this situation aligns closely with the Ad hoc phase, especially with the scattered papers and lax procedures.

I'm not so sure about that. The way Carlton talks about innovation makes me wonder if they might be at least Defined, but it feels more chaotic than that.

I think Gadgo's privacy program is definitely in the Ad hoc phase. It seems like there's no real structure or consistency in their data protection measures.
