I wonder if the correct answer is just to unplug the router and plug it back in. That usually fixes everything, right?

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'm going to go with my gut and say option C. Changing that router interface should do the trick!

Ooh, I bet the router is the culprit here. Gotta make sure those interfaces are set up correctly. Option C gets my vote.

Haha, imagine if the answer was to just change PC-2's IP to 172.16.30.11. That would be too easy, right? I'm going with option C, it seems the most logical solution.

I agree, changing the Router's 1/1/1 interface IP to 172.16.30.254 makes more sense.

The default gateway is the key here. PC-1 needs to be able to reach the router, so I'd say option A is the way to go.

Yes, that makes sense. PC-1 needs to be able to communicate with the router for bidirectional communication.

I agree, changing PC-1's default gateway to 172.16.30.2 should solve the issue.

Hmm, I think the issue might be with the subnet. The PCs are on different subnets, so they can't communicate directly. I'd go with option C and change the router interface to be on the same subnet as the PCs.

I see your point. Let's go with changing the router's interface IP to 172.16.30.254 then.

That could work too, but I think changing the router's interface IP is a more efficient solution.

But wouldn't it be easier to just change PC-1's default gateway to 172.16.30.2?
