I remember studying the National Provider Identifier (NPI) and the National Health Plan Identifier (PlanID) as part of the identifiers, but I can't recall if EIN is included.
I'm pretty sure the Social Security Number (SSN) is not a HIPAA national health care identifier, since it's a general identifier used for many purposes beyond healthcare.
This seems like a good opportunity to showcase my understanding of how technology is transforming the modern workplace. I'll focus on discussing both the benefits and challenges that technology has brought to jobs.
