I'm just picturing the poor IT admin trying to upgrade the WebUI server, and the only thing running through their mind is 'Please, don't let it be on fire when I'm done.'

Option C is the way to go! Stopping the WebUI service on the WebUI Server and running the installer on the BigFix Server? That's some next-level upgrade wizardry right there.

I agree, option C seems like the most efficient way to upgrade the WebUI server.

Option D is just too easy. Upgrading the BigFix Server and expecting the WebUI to magically upgrade itself? Nah, that's not how it works.

I think C is the right answer, as we should run the installer on the BigFix Server.

I'd go with Option A. Copying the installer and running it as an admin is usually the easiest way to handle upgrades.

But B makes more sense because we need to stop the WebUI service before upgrading.

Option B seems straightforward. Stop the service, run the installer, and then start the service again. Seems like the logical way to do it.
