Okay, let's see. TCP is a reliable connection-oriented protocol, so that could make sense for notifying clients. But UDP is also commonly used for notifications, so I'm not sure.
I'm going with UDP. It's the perfect choice for delivering updates quickly and efficiently to all those clients. Plus, it's probably the most fun to say out loud during the exam.
