I’m a bit confused; I thought 3DES was used for encryption too, but I’m pretty sure MD5 and SHA1 are valid hashing algorithms.

I feel like DES and RSA are more about encryption rather than hashing, so I would lean towards MD5 and SHA1 for sure.

I remember practicing a question where we had to identify valid hashing algorithms, and I think 3DES was mentioned, but I can't recall if it's for hashing or encryption.

I think MD5 and SHA1 are definitely part of the HashAlgorithmType enumeration, but I'm not sure about the others.
