I’m confused about the corner points and how they affect the total. I thought we just multiply the basic runs by the number of replicates, but now I’m not so sure.

I practiced a similar question recently, and I think it was about 4 factors with 2 levels. If I recall correctly, it was 16 runs for that one, so maybe this one is 32 runs before considering the replicates?

I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like we also need to consider the replicates. If we have 2 replicates, wouldn't that double the number of runs?

I think I remember that for a full factorial design, you calculate the number of runs as 2^k, where k is the number of factors. So for 5 factors, that would be 2^5, right?
