How many experimental runs exist in a Full Factorial and fully randomized design for 5 factors with 2 replicates for the Corner Points and no Center Points? The factors in the experiment are only at 2-levels.
I’m confused about the corner points and how they affect the total. I thought we just multiply the basic runs by the number of replicates, but now I’m not so sure.
I practiced a similar question recently, and I think it was about 4 factors with 2 levels. If I recall correctly, it was 16 runs for that one, so maybe this one is 32 runs before considering the replicates?
I think I remember that for a full factorial design, you calculate the number of runs as 2^k, where k is the number of factors. So for 5 factors, that would be 2^5, right?
