A locked door can put the therapist at risk of being accused for entrapment of a client. If a door must be locked be sure to ask the client for permission.
This seems like a straightforward question about client concerns. I'll carefully read through the options and think about what a new client might find concerning.
A locked door for privacy? I hope they don't lock me in! I need to be able to make a quick escape if the therapist starts doing some weird voodoo stuff.
