I'm not even going to bother with this question. It's like asking if the 'Hello' in a phone conversation is part of the actual message. Come on, people, let's get serious here!

I'm not sure about the envelope addresses, but the 'Subject' being in the header and the banner message are both right. As for the 'Message accepted' one, I think that candidate needs to brush up on their SMTP knowledge.

I agree, the 'Subject' is definitely part of the message header.

The '220 mx.internal.lab ESMTP Smtpd' message is definitely the SMTP banner. I don't know about the other options, but that one is spot on.

Haha, 'Message accepted for delivery' being part of the body? That's a good one. Clearly, it's part of the SMTP session, not the message itself.

I believe option D is also correct. The '220 mx.internal.lab ESMTP Smtpd' message is indeed part of the SMTP banner.

The 'Subject' being part of the message header is definitely correct. I'm pretty sure the SMTP envelope addresses are different from the message header addresses too.

I think option C is correct because the 'Subject' is usually part of the message header.
