Wait, are rogue access points really that serious?

I'm pretty sure WIDS doesn't detect brute-force attacks. That's more of a network security thing, not a wireless-specific threat.

Haha, I bet the exam writer was trying to trick us with that one. Nice try, but I'm not falling for it!

Hmm, I'm not sure about D. Isn't WPA2 authentication a security feature, not a vulnerability?

I could be wrong, but I thought brute-force attacks were more about intrusion detection systems rather than WIDS.

I practiced a similar question, and I think B and C are the right answers. They seem to fit the WIDS function.

I'm not entirely sure, but I feel like WPA2 vulnerabilities might not be directly detected by WIDS.

Brute-force attacks and WPA2 vulnerabilities are more about authentication and encryption, so I don't think WIDS would be the right tool to detect those. I'll go with rogue APs and unauthorized connections.

I'm pretty confident that rogue access points and unauthorized wireless connections are the two threats that WIDS would detect. The other options don't seem as relevant.

Okay, let's think this through. WIDS is designed to detect unauthorized access and anomalies on the wireless network, so I'd say it would pick up on rogue APs and unauthorized connections.

I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know WIDS is for wireless intrusion detection, but I'm not sure which specific threats it can detect.
