Topic #: 3
[All 301b Questions]

A device group is made up of four members: LTM-A, LTM-B, LTM-C, and LTM-D. An LTM Specialist makes a configuration change on LTM-B. Later, a different LTM Specialist notices a "changes pending" message on all devices. When logged into LTM-D, the LTM Specialist attempts to config-sync to the device group. The sync operation fails.

Why is the LTM Specialist on LTM-D unable to synchronize the configuration to the group?

NTP not being configured? That's a big deal!

I think it's because LTM-D has the lowest commit-id.

Wait, why can't LTM-D sync? That seems off.

LTM-B made a change, so it's pending on all devices.

I believe LTM-B needs to be the one to initiate the sync if it has pending changes. That might explain why LTM-D can’t sync.

I’m a bit confused about the NTP option. I don’t recall it being a factor in sync failures, but it could be worth considering.

I think I saw a similar question where the device with the lowest commit-id couldn't sync. Could that be the case here with LTM-D?

I remember something about config-sync failing if there are pending changes, but I’m not sure if it’s because of invalid changes or something else.

Direct confrontation? I don't know, that seems a bit risky. I'd want to try the more subtle approaches first, like the nonverbal cues and moving closer. Gotta keep those students feeling respected.

This seems like a straightforward question about the differences between ongoing and periodic customer satisfaction surveys. I think I can handle this one.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I'll need to think through the TSIG setup process and make sure I understand how the algorithm and key fit into the configuration. Gotta be careful with this one.
