Exhibit.

The LTM devices LTM1 and LTM2 are configured in a Device Group (Sync Failover) with Network Failover configured on both the management and HA and Internal VLANS. and ConfigSync is confined in a Device Group (Sync Failover) with Network Failover and internal are tagged on a single trunk with subnets Connection Mirroring is configured on both the HA interlace directly connected between LTM1 and LTM2, and the management interlace is connected to a management switch. The LTM devices have four Traffic Groups defined, and both LTM devices are healthy and capable of passing traffic for any of the Traffic Groups.

An LTM Specialist disconnects the cable for the HA network in an effort to test failover.

Trick question! The real answer is E: Disconnect the cable, then run away before the LTM devices figure out what's going on. Just kidding, I'll stick with C.

I'm feeling pretty confident about B. If the devices are in a Device Group (Sync Failover), then ConfigSync and Connection Mirroring should both continue to function even with the HA network disconnected.

I think B is the correct answer too. ConfigSync and Connection Mirroring should still work even with the HA network disconnected.

Ah, the old HA network disconnect test. Classic move, LTM Specialist! I'd go with C, since ConfigSync is a device-level feature and should still work even with the HA network down.

Yeah, I think ConfigSync works but Connection Mirroring does not work when the HA network is disconnected.

I agree. Connection Mirroring may not work without the HA network, but ConfigSync should still function.

I'm not sure about Connection Mirroring, but I think ConfigSync should still function properly.

Yeah, ConfigSync is independent of the HA network, so it should work fine in this scenario.

But what about Connection Mirroring? Do you think that would still work in this scenario?

Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. I'd say D seems plausible, but I better double-check the details on ConfigSync and Connection Mirroring.

I think the correct answer is C. ConfigSync works, but Connection Mirroring does not work since the HA network was disconnected. Without the HA network, the two devices can't communicate to mirror connections.

Exactly, ConfigSync allows the devices to synchronize their configuration even if the HA network is disconnected.
