A cartographer is creating a 3D scene of campgrounds in a national park. The facilities on the campground have been symbolized using simple 2D point symbols. The cartographer needs to apply a realistic 3D symbology to the facilities features without using a rule package.

Picture fill seems too flat for a 3D scene, right?

A procedural marker symbology? Not sure that’s the best choice here.

Wait, can you really use 3D models without a rule package? Sounds tricky!

I think using a 3D model marker symbology makes the most sense!

I’m leaning towards option C, but I’m a bit uncertain if procedural markers could also work in this context.

I feel like we had a similar question about symbology types, and I might be mixing up picture fills and 3D models.

I think using a 3D model marker symbology makes the most sense for representing campground facilities realistically.

I remember we discussed 3D symbology in class, but I'm not sure if using a procedural marker is the best option here.

I'm a bit confused on this one. Changing the symbology to a picture fill doesn't seem like it would create a 3D effect. And I'm not super familiar with procedural markers. I think I'm going to have to go with the 3D model marker option, but I'm not 100% confident that's the right call.

Okay, I've got this. Using a 3D model marker symbology is definitely the way to go. That will let me add some depth and realism to those campground symbols without having to mess with a complicated rule package. Feels like a pretty straightforward solution.

Hmm, I'm a little unsure about this one. Applying a procedural marker symbology could work, but I'm not sure if that would give me the 3D effect the question is asking for. Maybe I should look into the 3D model marker option more closely.

I think the key here is to use a 3D model marker symbology to get that realistic 3D look for the campground facilities without relying on a rule package. That seems like the most straightforward approach.

C, no doubt. Anything less than a 3D model marker symbology would be a total letdown. It's like trying to build a skyscraper with Lego bricks - sure, it might work, but it's just not gonna have the same impact, you know?

Hmm, I'm not sure. I was kind of leaning towards A, the procedural marker symbology. But now that I think about it, that might not be the best option for a 3D scene. I guess C is the way to go, unless the cartographer is really into origami or something.

Definitely C. Applying a 3D model marker symbology is the most logical choice here. Why would you want to use a 2D picture fill or some kind of procedural marker? That just wouldn't do justice to the 3D scene the cartographer is trying to create.

I think changing the symbology to a picture fill could also work well for symbolizing the campground facilities.

I think option C is the way to go. Using a 3D model marker symbology will give the campground facilities a much more realistic and immersive look. Plus, it's the only option that doesn't involve using a rule package, which the question specifically says the cartographer can't do.

Yeah, applying a procedural marker symbology or changing to a picture fill wouldn't give the same level of detail as using a 3D model marker symbology.
