A and B, duh. The other options are just silly. Who would think DHCP has anything to do with hop counts or authorization?

A and B are the obvious choices here. The DHCP protocol is all about IP configuration, not hop counts or authorization.

A and B are the correct answers. The DHCP protocol is used to obtain IP addresses and other network parameters, as well as provide information about the default gateway.

I’m a bit confused; I thought DHCP only handled IP addresses. Does it really provide other parameters like the default gateway?

I feel like I’ve seen a question like this before, and I’m pretty sure C and D are not related to DHCP at all.

I think B is correct too because DHCP does provide network configuration details, including the default gateway.

I remember DHCP is definitely about assigning IP addresses, so A seems right. But I'm not sure about the second one.

I've got this! A and B are the clear DHCP functions - getting IP addresses and default gateway info for hosts. I'll mark those down and move on to the next question.

I'm a bit confused by this question. C and D don't seem right, but I'm not 100% sure about A and B. I'll have to review my notes on DHCP before answering this one.

Okay, let's see. DHCP is the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, so it's got to be about how hosts get their network settings. I'm pretty confident A and B are the right answers here.

Hmm, I'm a little unsure about this one. I know DHCP has something to do with IP addresses and network configuration, but I'm not totally sure about the specifics. I'll have to think this through carefully.

This one seems pretty straightforward. I'll go with A and B - those seem like the obvious DHCP functions.
