I’m a bit confused between Authentication and Non-repudiation. I know they’re both important, but I can’t recall which one specifically proves identity.
I'm a little confused by this question. The options seem to be describing different cryptographic services, but I'm not sure which one is specifically about proving identity. I'll have to review my notes on this topic before answering.
Authentication, that's the one! Proving a user's identity is the key purpose of authentication in a cryptographic system. I'm confident that's the right answer.
Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know confidentiality, integrity, and non-repudiation are important cryptographic services, but I can't remember which one specifically deals with identity. I'll have to think this through carefully.
