Totally agree, RSTP and MSTP are the way to go!

Wait, can STP really handle separate roots?

Not sure about that, isn't MSTP a bit complex for simple setups?

I think RSTP and MSTP are the best options here.

STP and RSTP can definitely help with that.

I'm a bit confused about STP and RSTP together; I thought they were more about single instances rather than separate roots.

I practiced a question similar to this, and I feel like RSTP and MSTP were the right combo for handling multiple roots.

I think MSTP allows for separate spanning-tree instances, which might be what we need here.

I remember that RSTP is faster than STP, but I'm not sure if it can handle multiple instances like MSTP does.

I'm leaning towards C - STP and RSTP-PV. RSTP-PV can provide the separate spanning-tree roots, and STP is a more basic spanning-tree protocol that's widely used. But I'm not 100% sure, so I'll have to think it through a bit more.

Okay, I've got this. The key here is that we need separate spanning-tree roots, so that rules out just using STP and RSTP. B is the right answer - RSTP-PV and MSTP can both create multiple spanning-tree instances to avoid a single blocked port.

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know STP and RSTP are common spanning-tree protocols, but I'm not as familiar with RSTP-PV and MSTP. I'll need to review those a bit more to be confident in my answer.

I think the answer is B - RSTP-PV and MSTP. RSTP-PV allows for separate spanning-tree roots, and MSTP can create multiple spanning-tree instances to avoid having a port blocked for all instances.

I'm not sure, but I think D) RSTP & MSTP could also work because they are both advanced spanning-tree protocols.

I agree with Margarita, because STP and RSTP are both Layer 2 protocols that can be used to create separate spanning-tree roots.

I think the answer is A) STP & RSTP.

RSTP and MSTP definitely seem like the way to go here. Gotta have those separate spanning-tree roots, you know?
