I would have to agree with Alecia on this one. Sharing VMFS datastores is a pretty common use case for host groups. Although I do like Angella's sarcasm about the snapshots!
Ha! Snapshots on LUNs? What is this, the 90s? Clearly the right answer is C, giving multiple hosts access to VMFS datastores. Much more modern and useful.
Hmm, I'm not sure about that. I was thinking E might be the better choice since it allows multiple hosts to access the same LUNs, which is a common use case for a host group.
I think option C is the correct answer here. Grouping hosts together allows them to access the same VMFS datastores, which is a key benefit of this configuration.
