In Kafka, a small heap size is needed, while the rest of the RAM goes automatically to the page cache (managed by the OS). The heap size goes slightly up if you need to enable SSL

Hmm, I'm a bit unsure about this one. I know the configurations are stored somewhere, but I can't remember if it's in Zookeeper, an internal topic, or the server.properties file. I'll have to think this through carefully.
Option D sounds like the correct answer to me. The dynamic configurations are stored on the Kafka broker file system, not in Zookeeper or an internal topic.
