If you ask me, this diagram is giving me a 'resident' headache. But in all seriousness, the relationship is clearly 1:n, as each building can have multiple residents.
Ugh, I can never remember these relationship types. Is it 11 or 1n? I just hope I don't end up like my friend who failed this exam because he confused 'm' and 'n'.
I'm pretty sure the relationship is m:n, which means a many-to-many relationship. This makes sense since a building can have multiple residents, and a resident can live in multiple buildings.
