Cumulative Updates are associated with the Long Term Service Release servicing model. An LTSR establishes a stable baseline and receives periodic Cumulative Updates containing eligible fixes while maintaining extended compatibility and support. Current Releases follow a faster product lifecycle and are intended to deliver new features, platform support, improvements, and enhancement requests more quickly. A Current Release deployment is normally maintained by upgrading to a newer Current Release rather than waiting for an LTSR-style Cumulative Update. Options A, C, and D accurately describe the accelerated innovation and release objectives of the Current Release channel. Option B describes the maintenance mechanism used for LTSR environments and is therefore not a defining Current Release feature.
