Ah, this is a tricky one. The Catalyst SD-WAN has a few different pieces - vManage, vSmart, vEdge. I think the vSmart controller might be the one that handles the data plane policy distribution, but I'm not 100% certain.
I've got a good understanding of Cisco SD-WAN from my networking classes. If I had to guess, I'd say the vManage component is likely responsible for distributing the data plane policies across the SD-WAN.
I'm a bit unsure about this one. The Catalyst platform is Cisco's switching line, but SD-WAN is more about the WAN side. I'll have to review my notes on the different Catalyst SD-WAN elements.
Okay, I know Catalyst SD-WAN has something to do with Cisco's software-defined WAN technology. I'm pretty sure the data plane is responsible for actual traffic forwarding, so this component must be involved in that.
