I think the answer is BPDU guard. It's designed to prevent switch loops by disabling ports that receive BPDU packets, which is what would happen if an unmanaged switch was plugged in.

I'm a bit stumped on this one. The requirements mention controlling the number of appointments, so I'm not sure an Apex trigger or workflow rule would be the best approach. Maybe the scheduled job option would work better? I'll need to research each of these a bit more to decide.
