I was about to choose DHCP too, Effie. But DNS does seem like the more appropriate answer here. Though I have to admit, I'm a bit rusty on my networking protocols.

Yeah, I agree with Salena. DNS is the distributed database that handles that kind of hostname-to-IP mapping. The other options don't really seem to fit the question.
This question seems a bit tricky. I'm not entirely sure about the difference between all these protocols, but I think DNS is the one that maps hostnames to IP addresses.
