Which of the following situations would be considered a minor breach of a contract? Select TWO:

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: C

DEF must deliver the pasta required by ABC is the correct answer. Specific performance is when the innocent party is rewarded by receiving what was initially negotiated - in this case the delivery of pasta. It's basically a posh way of saying that the court mandates you to do what the contract says. See p. 129 for information on Specific Performance.

Definitely A and D. The paint color and the late delivery are minor hiccups, not major breaches. As for the baby tigers, I didn't even know that was an option. Someone needs to work on their animal identification skills!

I wonder how the zoo ended up with baby tigers instead of lions, that's quite a mix-up.

A and D for sure. The paint color and the late delivery are pretty minor compared to the other options. I mean, who orders baby tigers instead of lions? That's just crazy!

I'd go with A and D. The paint color mix-up and the late delivery are inconvenient, but not major issues. The other options seem like more serious breaches of the contract.

I disagree. I believe option B and D are minor breaches because bad advice can be rectified, and a delayed delivery can still fulfill the contract.

I agree with you, Alana. The painter didn't use the exact color but still completed the job, and the late delivery was due to unforeseen circumstances.

A and D seem like the clear minor breaches here. The painter using a different color and the late delivery due to a burst tire are relatively minor issues, unlike the bad advice or breach of a non-disclosure agreement.

Yeah, and the late delivery was probably out of their control.

The painter could have just made a mistake with the paint color.
