Which two of these fuel types for cars are considered to be green?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A, C

Petrol / gasoline and diesel are definitely not green.

Hydrogen and electricity are widely regarded as being green, although a case can be made, on closer inspection, for these fuels to be not quite as green as they are painted.

I’m a bit confused. I thought petrol was bad for the environment, but I can't remember if there are exceptions for certain types.

I feel like I’ve seen practice questions where electricity and hydrogen were both marked as green. I hope that’s right!

I remember studying that hydrogen is considered green, but I can't recall if there was anything else. Diesel seems wrong.

I think electricity is definitely one of the green options, but I'm not sure about the second one. Maybe hydrogen?

I'm confident that electricity is a green fuel type, but I'm not sure about the others. I'll select electricity and then take a guess on the second one.

This is a tricky one. I know electricity is green, but I'm not sure about the other options. I'll have to make an educated guess on the second one.

Hmm, I'm not too sure about this one. The question mentions the support engineer wants to narrow down the problem to a particular subsystem, so I'm wondering if a Java Flight Recording or specific harvested metrics might be more helpful in that case.

This one's easy, A and C are the green options. Though I'd love to have a car that runs on rainbows and unicorn farts.

I don't think so. Diesel is usually associated with higher emissions and pollution.
